This one-day visceral refresher is designed for Mummy MOT practitioners and/or therapists who want to refresh and deepen their visceral therapy approach to pregnant and postnatal care. Do you want to increase your confidence in delivering visceral therapy? Seeking to sharpen your manual therapy skills? and maximise the impact you make in practice? Learn even more visceral techniques ?

Then this course offers a focused opportunity to revisit and refine core visceral therapy techniques while expanding your clinical toolbox with additional approaches you can apply immediately. You’ll refresh techniques that may be used less frequently, explore new ways of working, and strengthen your clinical reasoning through meaningful discussion and hands-on practice, with your own clinical cases too! 

We’ll focus on abdominal mobilisation techniques for key visceral structures, while also exploring how visceral restrictions influence musculoskeletal dysfunction – from diastasis and pelvic pain to breathing patterns and spinal stiffness.

You’ll leave with renewed confidence, real clinical insight, and enhanced practical tools you can use right away.

• Scar mobilisation (C-section, laparoscopy) and core healing
• Case study discussions using your own real client examples

Course Schedule (Overview)

Morning:

• Anatomy refresher: visceral + fascial systems in pregnancy & postnatal recovery
• Palpation & abdominal mobilisation techniques
• Listening skills and treatment planning

Afternoon:

• Thoracic, pelvic & spinal integration techniques
• Case-based discussion (bring your own examples) and peer review
• Supervised practice and technique refinement by tutor facilitation

In the event that you later cancel your place, refunds will be issued according to the following terms:

• More than 90 days before the event: Full refund minus a £47 admin fee
• More than 30 days before the event: 75% refund
• More than 14 days before the event: 50% refund
• Less than 14 days before the event: No refund is given
