This one-day visceral refresher is designed for Mummy MOT practitioners and/or therapists who want to refresh and deepen their visceral therapy approach to pregnant and postnatal care.

We’ll focus on abdominal mobilisation techniques for key visceral structures, while also exploring how visceral restrictions influence musculoskeletal dysfunction – from diastasis and pelvic pain to breathing patterns and spinal stiffness.

You’ll leave with renewed confidence, real clinical insight, and enhanced practical tools you can use right away.

• Refresher on abdominal viscera: uterus, bladder, bowel, liver, diaphragm
• Techniques to mobilise and assess visceral tension in a safe, gentle, and effective way
• MSK integration: how visceral restriction links to pelvic girdle dysfunction, postural change, back pain & breathing issues
• Scar mobilisation (C-section, laparoscopy) and core healing
• Case study discussions using your own real client examples
• Practical whole-body treatment planning and application

Course Schedule (Overview)

Morning:

• Anatomy refresher: visceral + fascial systems in pregnancy & postnatal recovery
• Palpation & abdominal mobilisation techniques
• Listening skills and treatment planning

Afternoon:

• Thoracic, pelvic & spinal integration techniques
• Case-based discussion (bring your own examples) and peer review
• Supervised practice and technique refinement by tutor facilitation

In the event that you later cancel your place, refunds will be issued according to the following terms:

• More than 90 days before the event: Full refund minus a £47 admin fee
• More than 30 days before the event: 75% refund
• More than 14 days before the event: 50% refund
• Less than 14 days before the event: No refund is given
